Upscaling phases of BBM and resin components activated

After nearly 2 years of research, development and successful optimisations on the synthesis of BBM and the development of bisphenol-free biosourced epoxy resins, the scaling-up phases have been launched by SPECIFIC POLYMERS.

First, up to 1kg of innovative vitrimer-based BBM will be internally produced using an optimized procedure already validated at 150g scale.

In addition, up to 20kg of epoxy resin formulations will be prepared and delivered to VIBES end-users. Resins composition and synthesis parameters of the resin components have been settled to ensure the external production transfer at pilot scale.
